# hi tabi

> Curated, offline-first travel planning for Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Türkiye, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, Czechia and Germany — Japan deepest. Every place comes from a human-verified catalog — hard constraints like halal, vegetarian, cash-only, wheelchair access and stroller-friendliness are guaranteed by code, never guessed by an AI. Plans are frozen, shareable artifacts that keep working fully offline during the trip.

Filtering and selection run in code against the verified catalog; an AI (Haiku) only sequences the already-approved pool, and only for signed-in users. 35 cities / 226 curated neighborhoods / 1,424 verified places across 12 countries: Japan (16 cities), South Korea (Seoul, Busan), Singapore, Taiwan (Taipei), Türkiye (Istanbul), France (Paris, Versailles, Giverny), Italy (Rome, Florence, Venice, Naples), Spain (Barcelona, Madrid), the Netherlands (Amsterdam), Austria (Vienna), Czechia (Prague) and Germany (Berlin, Munich).

## How it works

- One neighborhood per day; fixed anchors first (flights, timed tickets); pace set by the most-constrained traveler; every stop carries nearby backups.
- What makes it different: generic AI tools can't guarantee place facts and can't run offline; tabi guarantees both, for the cities it covers.
- Built from a real family trip to Japan (two adults, a 5-year-old and an infant) that ran at ~95% plan adherence.
